On Saturday, 21st February 2026, the Geelong kettlebell community came together for an outstanding day of strength, endurance, and competition at Lara Health & Fitness in Lara. The Interstate Open 2 event, hosted as part of the broader Girevoy Sport Australia interstate series, delivered an electric atmosphere and showcased the continued growth of kettlebell sport across the region.

With 62 athletes competing nationally, the event was a key fixture in the Australian kettlebell calendar, bringing together lifters of all levels to test themselves in the demanding disciplines of Girevoy Sport. From long cycle to jerk and snatch events, the platform was filled with determination, grit, and impressive performances throughout the day.
